            Carmen Douglas
                Drums, Percussion

Carmen Douglas knew at the age of four that music was her calling and has enjoyed playing various instruments like clarinet, keys, guitar and bass.  But it was her elementary school music teacher who switched her focus from clarinet to drums.“It’s amazing how one single person’s influence can change the course of you life”. Since then, Carmen has performed at the Toronto Centre for the Arts, various bars, private parties, open jam nights and has been a part of some widely diverse Rock and Country Bands.  Throughout, she has embraced the teachings and influence of some very talented musicians and drum teachers including Adam Hay, Bob DeSale and Steve Effer.

Today, Carmen is the latest addition to Homegrown and is grateful to Rick for having introduced her to yet another talented group of musicians.
